Scientist day!!!

Last week on Thursday we had scientist day. These were the activity's that we did bubbly drink,dissolving,static electricity, magic balloon, will it mix,diving currants and Corney goo.The bubbly drink we think that it poised us it was sooooooooooooo gross.My favourite was Corney goo because we had lots of fun and it was green so our hands were green for soooooooooo .long maybe 2 days. I was really sad because we could not take it home.We used wigs from home to be mad professes we got big white shirts to be a lab coat. My Friend Natalia was having lots of fun because i said the bubbly drink was nice PS: it was not nice at all.HAVE LOOK AT THE 2 PHOTOS AT THE TOP

Playing tennis

On Tuesdays we go and play tennis. It is fun because we play all a game that has stages. Some of the stages was sick,dead,maggots and skeleton,most of us got to skeleton really fast.They had proper nets we had tennis rackets we all played fair and that's their best game I've played in a long time. the people i payed with was Natalia and Maddy and sometimes jean.It was really fun

Going to beenleigh historical villiage

At Beenleigh historical village i learnt how they used a washing machine but they don`t have one so they showed us how they wash.They have 3 buckets and a old clothes mangle and we all got a turn at having a go.We went in a 4 groups to all the activities. The first activity's were a movie it was a very good movie.

Our plants!!!

On Tuesday we did our seeds. My groups name is broccoli they have grown lots but are still very floppy. We need to water them every day in the afternoon. We take a photo of them to. We have a science journal to write about how our plants have grown. The people in my group is Emilia,Adam and Luke. it is a very easy prosese and we had fun with it.

My Speech about exersice

A couple of weeks ago we went to the grade 1 class and taught the about healthy food or exercise. We did a speech to them. I did a speech about exersice .We got them up ana exercise or just a pretend to eat d did food.We did a speech on palm cards. The girls were with boys the boys were with girls. It was a lot of fun because we have not done a speech to anyone before we hope we can do it to people like that thank yougrade 1!!!!!!!!

Our Excursion at Ngutana-Lui

Yesterday we went to Ngutana-Lui center. We went by bus and went with the other class 3c. The peoples names were Lisa, Robert, Uncle Wally and Marlon.They were all Aboriginals except uncle wally he is a Torres strait islander. There were 4 groups and 4 activities they were all were exciting. One was about uncle Wally and his life as a warrior. The other one was about how the girls used all their stuff. Lisa showed us some leaf that is turns into soap . Other one was about the stores they told and we got to feal the stuff they used and Marlon told us how they hunt animals. The last one was about the symbols they used we did a sheet with that one. There was a big sprite of their myth. we learned a dance and showed the class. Thanks so much Ngutana goodbye.

Apples Ain't Apples

Yesterday we had a visit from the Apples Ain't Apples people. They let us have a taste of all the apples. I found out that bananas are a herb. They told us that they got flooded. All their food was gone. They told us how apples grow. Some red Apples are called pink ladies and red deli sh. the green apples are called granny smith . There are a lot of leafed foods. The saying is 2 fruits and 5 vegetables yummy!!!
